There are two popular routes in the waters of the Persian Gulf. They are slightly different from each other, but generally similar. The route I want to talk about today is operated by the Italian cruise line MSC Cruises. She is more loyal to Russians and Belarusians. And so, the cruise “Pearls of the Persian Gulf”.
The second route is called “Oriental Tale”. In December 2021, I booked such a cruise, which was subsequently cancelled. The flight was operated by the Costa cruise line, which joined the sanctions against the Russian Federation. Well, now MSC has placed a ship from its fleet on this route.

You know, there are very interesting routes where the liner itself is not particularly important. Because the route is unusual or even outlandish. Like, for example, we went on a sea cruise around the islands of the Indian Ocean. And there are routes where the stops, well, let’s say, are interesting, but not particularly attractive. In such cases, the liner is of great importance.
The voyage will be carried out by one of the ships of the MSC fleet – the cruise ship Virtuosa. The newest ocean vessel, with the latest technology. This is a huge ship with a capacity of about 6,000 passengers. With a lot of innovations, both in design and in terms of entertainment and convenience.
Its highlight was, in my opinion, the preservation of the style of the last series of Meraviglia class liners, I mean the ice ceiling in the covered promenade. And as you understand, there is simply a huge mass of new products in the design of the airliner.

In the winter season of 23-24, this route starts from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It runs from December to March, and as you probably already guessed, across the waters of the Persian Gulf. This year, the MSC World Europa cruise ship debuted on this route. Let’s return to our route.
