Virgin Voyages (until 10/18/2016 Virgin Cruises) is a new company, created in 2015 by the investment fund Bain Capital (USA) and billionaire Richard Branson with the goal of changing the view of cruise vacations. The head office is located in the USA (Florida).
Approach to a Virgin Voyages holiday
The main feature of this company is admission only for passengers over 18 years old. The management considers the main advantage to be a focus on young people, for whom good health, quality of relaxation, and a variety of entertainment without a dress code come first.

The concept of organizing the space was developed by 10 architects who had not worked with ships before. The ships look like comfortable industrial-style hotels with large windows and lots of chrome. There are no buffets or buffets, only restaurants with varied cuisine.

Liners Virgin Voyages – ideal for people who regularly engage in fitness. The ships have huge gyms, plenty of space for yoga on the decks, and a boxing ring. The beautiful SPA center has a sauna, a swimming pool, and spacious rooms for relaxation.
Team members are allowed model hairstyles and tattoos. On the ships of this company, passengers are treated like sailors who went on a trip to relax and sunbathe. There are tablets in the cabins, bright Virgin hammocks on the balconies, and water in glass carafes that can be refilled from the water station. Restaurants have reusable containers and cutlery made of metal.

Cabins on Virgin Voyages
Three types of premises are offered: internal, with portholes, and with balconies. As an improved option – themed rooms in various styles with an area of up to 45 m².
Unique spaces of Massive suites
These 200 m² cabins are unique, with two Massive cabins on each ship. The interior with a turntable and a guitar room embodies the brand. These cabins have 2 bedrooms. The main ones have huge beds for two, marble bathrooms, showers. There are sofas, bars in the living rooms, dining tables, armchairs, and a jacuzzi on the balconies.
The atmosphere on the ships is designed like an epic rock star. Massive is a reminder of luxury. Team members help unpack things and replenish the bar. Physical fitness is maintained by yoga and fitness classes, and cycling. Impressive shows created by famous producers and actors.
Virgin Voyages Parties
The themed costume parties from this company are incredible. The production is being directed by the creators of House of Yes. A striking example is the story about Persephone with the participation of acrobats, gymnasts, dancers, and singers.
Unique holiday “Scarlet Night”
No other party can beat this party. The central atrium is decorated with octopus tentacles of incredible size, and two random passengers are selected to role-play dating and marriage. The pool party continues until midnight, later passengers move to the nightclub.
Features of catering at Virgin
The food concept of this company is unique. There is no main restaurant with dedicated seating, instead of buffets there are cafes and snack bars. Passengers choose an establishment (not necessarily a restaurant). There are many of them on the liners, each with its own atmosphere and menu.
Important! The food is free, but premium meals can be ordered for a fee.
A popular test kitchen is The Test Kitchen, often referred to as a cooking laboratory. The project was developed by Concrete Amsterdam; no other company offers anything like this during cruises. The hall is sterilely clean; passengers are offered 6 dishes for tasting, which change periodically. Guests choose the ingredients, the chef prepares the dishes. For $25 you can purchase an add-on (wine, beer, cocktail, drink without alcohol).
Drinks on ships
The price of the tour includes carbonated drinks, premium coffee, fresh juices! There are no packages, payment is available through Bar Tab.
This is the name of a loan without the need for repayment. Funds are spent on premium drinks on ships and on the private Beach Club (Bahamas). For every $300 spent, a bonus $50 is awarded. This allows you to buy drinks not only for yourself, but also for other passengers.
