The reason for writing this article was one recent incident. In one of the structured chats, I suggested a tool to make the work of an Internet entrepreneur easier.
I will not describe the tool in detail in this article, I will only say that it is a tested chat bot, customized directly for the company. That is, a ready-made, though paid, product.
My impulse was determined not only by economic considerations (purchase together), but also by an attempt to help my colleagues. I received this feedback:

I still don’t understand, it was just such a reaction to a paid product or a banal misunderstanding of how they work and what business tools are needed for?!
What a pill? What a magic wand? A tool and nothing more. Let’s figure it out together!

If a person positions himself as an Internet entrepreneur building a business on the Internet, then, as in any business, he must have at least a basic set of tools. Isn’t it?
If your mentor registered your email, and your son or grandson helped you install Skype on your computer and WhatsApp on your phone, then you are not yet an Internet entrepreneur, you are still only dreaming of becoming one.
Well, to put it simply, I, like most families, have a box on my balcony with tools for minor repairs in the apartment. The minimum set that I need in a city apartment:
- Hammer
- Pliers
- Pliers
- Gas or adjustable wrench
- Hacksaw for wood and metal
- Nails, screws, bolts
- Drill
Question: — Without my hands, these tools are capable of making minor repairs in the apartment?
No, of course!
And with their help it will be easier for me to carry out minor repairs?
Yes! Absolutely!
Basic set of tools for running an online business
In my opinion, an online entrepreneur has a basic set instruments consists of the following:
- Personal page on social networks VKontakte and Facebook,
- Groups or business pages (public) in the same social networks.
- Personal YouTube channel (video marketing)
- Instagram account
- Personal website or blog
- Mail mailing service (e-mail marketing)
- Chat bots (form a subscriber base, convey information, sort target audience)
This, of course, is not a complete list of tools for doing business via the Internet. But they are perhaps the most popular and highly effective at the moment.
All of the tools listed above guarantee you an influx of partners and clients into your business? — NO!
And their presence in your arsenal will increase the chances of involving potential partners and clients in your business? YES! ABSOLUTELY!
Each of the tools requires attention and certain actions on the part of the owner. Most of them must be designed in a certain way. And most importantly, regular posting, publication of fresh content. Which leads to an increase in subscribers and friends.
This is your base of interested people, among whom are potential partners and clients. Just imagine that 5000 people have subscribed to you in each service.
On Instagram, VK, Facebook, YouTube channel, blog subscribers, chat bot, 5000 different people everywhere. Can you imagine the coverage!
Closing the deal and preliminary personal communication has not been canceled! No one will do this for you! But in order to have someone to talk to, you need such tools.
Modern technological tools
Modern high-tech tools include chat bot and Instagram. Although I understand perfectly well that modern technologies and innovative proposals are sometimes not understandable to the older generation. It is difficult to abandon “grandmother’s methods” overnight and immediately make a leap to innovation.
I’m not young either, but I want to be trendy. Keep up with the innovations and technologies that progressive people use. I want to constantly add newer, up-to-date tools for doing business online to my arsenal.
