I was very surprised to discover that the region has been undeservedly deprived of the attention of cruise companies this year. Southeast Asia cruises are not that common. They take place in autumn and winter. Today we will talk about the route operated by the cruise ship Celebrity Millennium of the company Celebrity Cruises. Voyage duration 12 nights/13 days.
The region is huge, a sea voyage allows you to visit the maximum number of cities and their attractions. Tourists are attracted by ancient traditions, beautiful nature, unique architecture and warm climate. Two cruises of this ship from India to Southeast Asia are planned for the coming year:

Mumbai
Departure port: Mumbai (Bombay). It is located on the shores of the Arabian Sea on several islands connected by bridges and ferries. This city ranks first in India in terms of population. Wealth coexists with poverty, which is why Mumbai is often called a city of contrasts.

- Museums (Prince of Wales, Gandhi, “Jehangir”);
- Elephanta Caves with paintings dedicated to Shiva, stone sculptures;
- Mosques, temples, basilicas;
- Water Kingdom.
The hanging gardens on Malabar Hill with flower beds, bushes in the shape of animals, gazebos, and original sculptures are considered unique.
Goa
In Goa, the first thing to visit is the ancient city of Panaji with temples and cobbled streets. Lovers of religious architecture are attracted to cathedrals, churches, basilicas, and monasteries. Spice plantations are considered unique. Goa has 3 nature reserves, a waterfall and Arvalem caves.
Palolem Beach with its snow-white sand and gentle entrance to the ocean is popular among tourists. Young people are attracted to the open-air nightclub Cubana.
Colombo
While staying in the commercial capital of Sri Lanka, visit the Buddhist temples. Particularly popular is Gangaramaya with real Buddha hair, combining 4 architectural styles. There is a library on site with exhibits on the history of Sri Lanka. The Arcade Independence Square shopping center is not always visited for shopping; many are attracted by the opportunity to take photos in front of the fountains.
Hambantota
This southern city of Sri Lanka is no less attractive. During your stay you can see a park with lakes and lagoons, the Kalametiya nature reserve with a large variety of birds, Madunagala springs with healing water.
Phuket
In Thailand, tourists visit the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong Temple. Some will enjoy the pedestrian-only Bangla Road with its adult-only activities. Those wishing to buy original souvenirs visit the night market. And of course, the magnificent beaches will delight you with clear water and soft sand.
Penang
This island of Malaysia attracts with its exotic nature, home to the Peranakan Museum, an amusement park, a butterfly farm, and the active Kek Lok Si Temple monastery with temples and pagodas. The most unusual attraction is the wall painting.
Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang)
In the capital of Malaysia, the Petronas Towers (twins), a television tower with an observation deck, Independence Square with temples and mosques, a huge park with a free outdoor swimming pool. Singapore
Tourists usually visit Merlion Park – the symbol and pride of the city. Merlion is a fish with the head of a lion.
