A rather attractive route is being offered by MSC Cruises this May. The name itself attracts the attention of travel lovers. Of course, this is not a round-the-world cruise, but nevertheless you can take a ride around Europe. As part of this voyage, you will see 13 cities and visit 12 countries.
On this trip you will experience the contrast between the culture of the north and south of old Europe, all in 19 nights. In addition, the cruise will have enough time to get to know the ship and its infrastructure. I will write about it below.
In this article I will offer you a second option for a route around Europe, it is a little shorter.
A busy itinerary for a big cruise
This is quite a long route, both in terms of time and intensity, which will go around almost the whole of Europe. It focuses more on the countries of the northern part of the European continent.
Boarding the ship on May 3 in the city of Genoa (Italy). If you arrive a little early (I recommend), you can experience Italian hospitality and get to know the city.
Palazzi dei Rolli
Cimitero monumentale di Staglieno
Via Garibaldi
The next morning you will arrive at the port of Marseille (France) and you will have enough time (10 hours) to see the local attractions.
Longchamp Palace
Barcelona will open before you in all its glory the next day. Getting to know the Spanish flavor for 10 hours.
Casa Batlló
- Over the next two days you will circumnavigate the Iberian Peninsula. Use this time to get to know each other and have a great time on the cruise ship.
- On the sixth day of the cruise around Europe, you will arrive in the Spanish city of La Coruña, which you will have 11 hours to explore.
- And after another day of sailing you will arrive in the UK, the city of Southampton. I already wrote about how to travel from Southampton to London in time. And all this in 12 hours. The task is not easy, but we personally succeeded. Unforgettable!
At Southampton seaport
Monument I don’t remember to whom…
- You will spend the next two days at sea, moving from England to Germany. You will be greeted by the city of Warnemünde, which is two hundred and forty km away. from Berlin.
- The next morning the Polish city of Gdynia will open its gates to you.
- On the 13th day of the cruise you will arrive in the Baltic states and visit: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia. Every day a new port: Klaipeda, Riga, Tallinn.
- From there to Helsinki (Finland). 10 hours of free time for a walk around the city.
- Next on the route is the Swedish capital Stockholm, where you will spend two days.
- A day at sea and on the 20th day of the cruise around Europe, end your trip in the Danish city of Copenhagen.
How do you like this option?
From Rome to Berlin
This is the second route option and it is slightly less — 11 nights. Will pass through 7 cities and 5 countries. Essentially the same route as described above, only departing a day earlier — May 2nd. Landing in Rome, and the final stop will be the city of Warnemünde.
Visas and cost of cruises around Europe
You will need two visas:
- Italian multiple entry Schengen visa;
- Single entry tourist visa to the UK.
The cost of a large cruise is from 370,000 rubles. no service fee. Balcony cabin Fantastica for two passengers. Unfortunately, only these types of cabins remain. Hurry up with your reservation.
Small cruise option costs from RUB 109,466. and above, for a cabin for two.
Ocean liner MSC Poesia
This cruise will be carried out by the standard class ship Poesia, of the MSC Cruises fleet. This ship is the “brother” of the MSC Orchestra liner of the Musica family.
Watch a video review of this snow-white liner.
In my opinion, this is a great cruise option. Covers many countries and cities located around Europe.
