On the evening of November 13, MSC Cruises held an inauguration ceremony for the newest flagship of its fleet – the MSC World Europa.
The event was held at the new cruise terminal of the Doha seaport in partnership with Qatar Airways. This once again underlines Qatar’s commitment to the growth of international tourism, and the cruise line to the Middle East region, where MSC Cruises is today the No. 1 cruise line.

The ceremony was attended by honored guests, international media, as well as travel agents and tour operators from around the world.
The guests of the event were impressed by the state-of-the-art laser show, which was projected onto the hull of the liner, a grandiose drone show and a performance by Italian singer Matteo Bocelli.
The unforgettable ceremony culminated with a fireworks display set against the stunning Doha skyline.
MSC World Europa is the most innovative and environmentally advanced cruise ship in the MSC Cruises fleet. It runs on liquefied gas and is equipped with innovative technologies for reducing emissions and energy efficiency. It is a cutting-edge maritime metropolis that sets new standards for the cruise industry.
The MSC World Europa has 22 decks, 40,000 sq. m of public space and 2626 cabins.
It features an innovative design – a Y-shaped aft leading to an impressive 104m promenade with breathtaking sea views, 65% of cabins have balconies.
33 restaurants, bars and lounges, each with their own distinct style and atmosphere. Including 6 restaurants and 7 brand new bar and cafe concepts. Entertainment facilities of a new level on high-tech sites, 6 swimming pools. The most luxurious MSC Yacht Club, the largest and most action-packed entertainment area for children MSC Kids area.
The liner will spend its first season in the Persian Gulf, performing cruises with Russian-speaking groups, and in the summer it will go to the Mediterranean Sea.
